Abstract
There are many opportunities to harness technologies innovations for the benefit of provision of health and care in the UK and worldwide. However, the real-world use and adoption of these technologies can be less than straightforward - people are diverse, unpredictable, and just plain weird. This talk will cover two topics that have the potential to make real change: AI in healthcare and technology enabled care. I will discuss approaches to involving end users in the design process and leveraging existing commercial technologies for everyday health and care.
