UCLIC Research Seminar Series

Title
Abstract
A variety of collaborative software tools have been developed to enable people to learn, communicate and work together. The benefits are many; including being able to learn from one another, better decision-making, community-building and improved work productivity. But how best to achieve this? In my talk, I outline core design principles that can be used to promote collaboration through interface design; illustrating how the affordances of different technologies can be used in creative ways, including wearables, mobile devices, sensors, shared public displays and interface agents.
