Roberto Antonio Montano Murillo

Brief biography
I am a research fellow in Interactive Graphics at the Interact-Lab from University College London. I completed a PhD on computational 3D interaction techniques for immersive Virtual Reality under the supervision from Prof. Sriram Subramanian at the University of Sussex. I previously interned as a Human Computer Interaction (HCI) researcher at Adobe Research and I hold an electronics engineering background.
I am interested on optimisation techniques to improve human factors related to manipulation, navigation and selection in Virtual Reality. I am currently working on the principles of wavefront manipulation and metamaterials to explore a combination of acoustic levitation, mid-air haptics and parametric audio in Virtual Reality.
