I am currently involved in the CodeMe project. My research investigates new methods for teaching children about computing, electronics and the Internet of Things. More broadly, I am interested in the design and evaluation of tangible educational toolkits and holistic learning environments.
I am supervised by Yvonne Rogers, Nicolai Marquardt and Phil Stenton from BBC Research & Development.

Brief biography

Before joining UCL, I obtained an MA in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh, where I focused on exploring visual perception through computational models of the visual cortex. I've also spent time at the University of York, where I worked on creating accessible user interfaces for statistical analysis, and at BBC R&D, where I researched audience experience for AI-assisted TV production.
