I am currently involved in the CodeMe project, where my research is centred around exploring new methods for teaching children about the Internet of Things. More broadly, I am interested in the design and evaluation of tangible educational toolkits and holistic learning environments.
I am supervised by Yvonne Rogers, Nicolai Marquardt and Phil Stenton from BBC Research & Development.
Before coming to UCL, I obtained an MA in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh, where I focused on sensory processing, in particular exploring visual perception through computational models of the visual cortex. I also spent time as a research intern at the University of York's Centre for Complex Systems Analysis, where I worked on creating accessible user interfaces for statistical analysis.
